Travertine is the stone we restore most across the Valley, on floors, showers, and patios. It is porous, calcium-based, and full of natural voids, which is why the same five problems keep showing up.
Travertine restoration is a sequence, not a single treatment. Your free in-home estimate covers the whole property, patios included, and tells you which steps your stone actually needs.
The same sequence restores travertine shower walls and floors, and outdoor travertine pavers and pool surrounds get it with outdoor products.
Travertine is durable and easy to maintain once it is sealed. These habits keep it that way.
From dingy and worn to polished and pristine, our deep cleaning brings natural stone back. On travertine, marble, granite, or limestone, we gently lift years of residue and discoloration to reveal the original texture and vibrancy beneath.

Does travertine require more maintenance than other stones?

Travertine is a porous stone, which means it does require regular sealing to protect against staining and moisture. With proper care and sealing, it’s durable and easy to maintain.
What finish options do you offer for travertine?

We can hone travertine for a matte, natural look or polish it to a soft sheen. Our team will help you choose the right finish based on your style, foot traffic, and maintenance preferences.
Can you fix holes or pits in my travertine floor?

Yes. Travertine often develops natural holes or surface pits over time. We use specialized fillers and color-matching techniques to repair these areas and restore a smooth, consistent surface.
Why do holes keep appearing in my travertine floor?

Travertine forms with natural voids. The factory fill wears out over time, and foot traffic opens the holes further. We refill them with color-matched fillers, level the surface, and hone and seal the floor so the repair blends in.
Can travertine be polished, or only honed?

Both. Honing gives travertine a matte, natural look, and polishing brings it to a soft sheen rather than a mirror finish. We will help you choose based on your style, foot traffic, and how much maintenance you want.
How do you clean travertine tile and grout?

With pH-neutral, professional-grade cleaning that lifts soil out of the pores and the grout lines rather than off the top only. Acidic cleaners are never used on travertine because they etch it. Once the floor is clean and dry, it is sealed to slow the next buildup.
Do you restore outdoor travertine pavers and pool decks?

Yes. Outdoor travertine gets cleaned, refilled, and sealed with outdoor products, and faded stone can take a color-enhancing sealer that brings back the wet look. Slick pool surrounds can be treated for traction at the same visit.
