What causes dark rings or stains on a granite counter?
Granite is less porous than marble, but oil and water still soak in once the sealer stops working. A dark ring under a bottle or a wet spot that will not dry is the usual sign. We assess the stain during your free in-home estimate, tell you what deep cleaning can lift, and reseal so the next spill stays on the surface.
Why does my granite look dull even after cleaning?
The dullness is usually a film of cleaning residue and hard-water minerals sitting on the polish, not damage to the granite. Professional deep cleaning removes the film, and polishing restores the shine where the surface itself has worn.
