Stone repair covers chips, cracks, and failed grout in natural stone and tile. Even durable stone can suffer damage from impacts, settling, or improper care. Our expert technicians specialize in restoring the structural and visual integrity of your stone with precision repair techniques that blend seamlessly with the original material.
Stone repair covers more than a chipped corner. These are the repairs that come up most in Scottsdale and Phoenix homes.
Our goal is a virtually invisible repair. The sequence is the same whether it is one chip or a whole floor of travertine holes.
Some severe damage may leave slight traces, and we say so before we start. Most repairs blend in so well that they are hard to detect without knowing where to look.
In most cases a damaged tile or counter does not need to be replaced. Here is how we decide.

What types of damage can you repair?

We can repair chips, cracks, holes, and etching in marble, travertine, granite, limestone, and more. We match the stone’s texture and color for a natural look.
Will I still see the repair afterward?

Our goal is a virtually invisible repair. While some severe damage may leave slight traces, most repairs blend in so well that they're hard to detect without knowing where to look.
Do I need to replace the whole tile or section if it’s damaged?

In most cases, no. Our professional repairs eliminate the need for full replacement, saving you time and money while preserving the surrounding stone.
Do you repair chips and cracks in granite and quartzite countertops?

Yes. Chips at edges and sink cutouts, cracks, and separated seams are filled with color-matched epoxy and blended into the pattern of the stone, in place, restoring both the look and the structural integrity of the counter.
Can holes and pits in travertine be filled?

Yes. Travertine's natural holes open up as the original fill wears out, especially in traffic lanes. We refill them, then hone or polish the surface so the fill takes the same finish as the stone around it.
Is cracked or missing grout part of stone repair?

Yes. Failed grout lets water reach the tile bed, and it spreads if it is left alone. Cracked or crumbling sections are removed and regrouted, and grout can be sealed or color-sealed afterward so every line matches.
Can etch marks be repaired, or is that a polishing job?

Both, and they are the same visit. An etch is the surface dissolved by acid, so it is repaired by honing off the etched layer and polishing the finish back rather than by filling. Chips and cracks nearby are filled before that final polish.
